Roland Acsai (1975) is a poet, writer, translator and essayist. He has published four volumes of poems, and currently working on the fifth that will be a book for children. He has spent several periods in Finland and in Norway as an artist in residense. There is significant effect of the scandinavian literature and fine arts in his latest works. He has been awarded the Zoltán Zelk Prize and has got several scolarships and stipendium as well. His poems has been translated into English, Finnish, Czech, German and Polish. He lives in Budapest with his wife, who is painter and his daughter who is one year old.
