Dimităr Kenarov (BG)

Dimiter Kenarov was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. His first collection of poems, Patuvane kam kuhniata [A Journey to the Kitchen], was published in 2001 and won the Juzhna prolet/Literaturen vestnik award for best poetry debut. His second collection, Vlakat na zhivotnite [The Animal Train], is forthcoming in 2009. In addition, he has translated the selected poems of Elizabeth Bishop into Bulgarian. Kenarov is currently a graduate student in English Literature at the University of California, Berkeley.

Dny poezie a vína Valtice 2009 startují ke hvězdám dnes (24. září 2009) ve 20.00 v Tanečním sále valtického zámku. Dorazilo 27 básníků z 27 zemí EU. 10 předních českých režisérů o nich natočí 27 filmových medailonků.

Days of Poetry and Wine Valtice 2009 launch to stars today (september 24th) at 8PM in the Ball-Room of the Chateau Valtice. 27 poets from 27 counries of EU came to the capital of Wine. 10 famous Chzech directors will film them and there come into beeing 27 short documentary films (portrets) about them.
